1.1 Preparation before operation
Check the condition of the trolley
First, check the appearance of the motorized transfer cart to see if there is obvious damage to the body, such as deformation of the frame, wear or damage to the wheels, etc. For damaged parts, they should be repaired or replaced in time to ensure driving safety.
Check the electrical system, including power cord, controller, motor, etc. Make sure that the power cord is not damaged or short-circuited, the buttons and indicator lights of the controller are working properly, the motor connection is firm, and there is no abnormal sound or odor.
Check the braking system of the motorized transfer cart. The brake device should be able to work normally and the braking distance meets safety requirements. Check the sensitivity of the brake by manually operating the brake lever or button.

Confirm the safety of the working environment
Clear obstacles on the driving route of the electric transfer cart, such as debris, tools, etc. Make sure that the width of the driving channel is sufficient for the flat cart to pass, and the ground of the channel is flat, without large pits, bumps or other factors that may cause the flat cart to bump or tip over.
Check the safety signs in the work area, such as warning signs, height limit signs, etc. If the electric transfer cart is used in an area where other equipment or personnel are working, turn on the sound and light alarm lights, and ensure that there is enough safety distance to avoid collision.
Start operation
Turn on the main power switch, and the control system of the battery transfer trolley will perform a self-check. After the self-check is completed, according to the type of trolley, start the motor by operating the start button on the controller (which may be a knob type, a key type, etc.). Some motorized transfer carts are also equipped with a key starter, which requires the key to be inserted and rotated to the start position.
Driving operation.
Operate the forward/reverse button or joystick on the controller to make the battery transfer trolley drive in the desired direction. During driving, accelerate slowly and avoid sudden acceleration to prevent the cargo from tipping over. For trolleys with speed adjustment function, the driving speed can be adjusted according to the actual work needs and the safety conditions of the working environment.
It should be noted that if you want to change the transportation direction of the trolley, you must wait until the flat cart stops before changing the direction.
The operator should always pay attention to the driving direction and surrounding environment of the trolley, and ensure safety by observing the front and sides of the trolley. If turning is required, slow down in advance and slowly turn the joystick or press the turning button according to the turning radius of the flat cart to make the flat cart turn smoothly.
Loading and unloading cargo
Before loading and unloading cargo, make sure that the battery transfer trolley is in a stopped state and the brake device is in effect. For small cargo, the cargo can be placed on the loading platform of the electric flat cart by manual handling; for large or heavy cargo, forklifts, cranes and other equipment may be required for loading and unloading.
When placing goods on a flat car, pay attention to the distribution of the center of gravity of the goods. Try to make the center of gravity of the goods in the center of the flat car, and ensure that the goods are placed firmly and will not move or tip over during transportation. Ropes, fixing clamps, etc. can be used to tie and fix the goods.
Precautions during transportation
During transportation, keep the driving speed of the motorized transfer trolley stable. If you encounter bumpy roads, be more careful to prevent the goods from falling. At the same time, pay attention to the load limit of the flat car and do not overload the transportation to avoid affecting the performance and service life of the flat car, or even causing safety accidents.
When transporting flammable, explosive, corrosive and other dangerous goods, operate in strict accordance with relevant safety regulations. The battery transfer trolley may need special protective devices, such as fireproof, explosion-proof, and anti-corrosion coatings, and the operator must take corresponding protective measures.
Parking operation
When the flat car arrives at the destination, first slow down and stop the transfer car. Return the joystick or button to the neutral position to ensure that the flat car will not continue to drive due to misoperation. If the transfer car is parked on a slope, use the brake device to fix the transfer car to prevent it from sliding.
Turn off the power
After the transfer car stops and brakes, turn off the main power switch. For transfer cars that are not used for a long time, you can also unplug the power cord to avoid accidental power on. At the same time, simply clean the transfer car, such as removing debris on the cargo platform, to prepare for the next use.
